[Someone comes on the feed looking a bit cranky, which is a tad unusual for him. He's also covered in splotches of soot, and the sweat on his brow may imply this is a battle he might not be winning.]

Could someone please explain to me how this place can be so rich in magic an technology, yet they still power their machines with something as inefficient as coal?

[He wipes his brow, smearing more soot on his face.]

If anyone has a more efficient solution, I'd be more than willing to hear it while I... [a grunt as he tries to loosen something in the machine] try to update this thing the best I can. I can't just leave it like this.

[He wasn't raised in the most technologically advanced empire back home, just to be working with some filthy rocks here. He was determined to fix this. People are welcome to come bother him if they too are on the farm. He'll be busy dismantling and rebuilding the machine.... all the while grumbling about how offensively outdated it is.]
